People love to make fun of Florida, but the two most original cards we received this Christmas came from the Sunshine State. The first was a pen-and-ink drawing of an elf doing a handstand atop a bookshelf, created by Jeanne Meinke (wife of the St. Petersburg poet Peter Meinke) and the second was a photograph of a cow licking her newborn calf, sent by cattle rancher and poet Sean Sexton in Vero Beach.
