There was a lot of great sports action over the weekend but perhaps the finest moment came during a timeout. It happened in the first half of the Iowa State-Penn State game in Iowa City, where the Children’s Hospital overlooks the stadium. For several minutes fans, players, coaches, and officials waved to the young patients sitting in the windows.
