The cover of the October 1949 issue of Holiday – reproduced in the new book about the great travel magazine – carried an illustration of the interior of a Pittsburgh steel mill.
The closest I came to that audacity at the Sun-Sentinel was a cover of black-and-white photos (by the great Mark Chester) of the Mayo Clinic.
