shirts for writers

The Association of Writers and Writing Programs Conference in Los Angeles was held at the Convention Center, which is next door to the Staples Center. So at one point on Saturday, attendees coming to and from the conference merged with people heading to the LA Kings game. Many of the latter wore black-and-white jerseys of their team. They carried the names of favorite players on the back, while the conference attendees wore badges bearing their own names, in much smaller letters, in the front.

A female copanelist of mine suggested that we start a business manufacturing sports-style jerseys for writers, with names like Oates, Eggers, Franzen, and Patchett stitched across the back. But what would the logo and colors be?
