The photo on the front page of the Miami Herald today shows two young women in Guayaquil, Ecuador, taking selfies of themselves with Pope Francis. So instead of the memory of a meaningful, if fleeting, moment with the head of the Catholic church, they now have a record of their turning their backs to him.
