Irish friends are in town for Cruise Shipping in Miami Beach, and I e-mailed them on Monday to firm up Friday's dinner plans. I didn't hear back - which was strange - so I e-mailed them again. Still no word. Last night I called their hotel. There was no answer - not in their room, at the front desk.
