Yesterday on our walk around the neighborhood we saw two different men, at two different locations, each walking his dog while talking on his cell phone. And I wondered: do dogs resent this? All day long they look forward to their walks and then their masters breeze in, grab their leashes, and dial up their iPhones. Every day thousands of dogs go out into the street led by humans who are not really there. It has to grate. Lucky for the masters, dogs are much more forgiving than humans.
