There is a house on the other side of the canal that would be nondescript if not for the canopy set between the trees in its front yard. Plastic chairs sit in its shade, and almost every evening, no matter the season, they are filled with people talking.

It is such an odd sight, Americans eschewing television, computers, video games, Kindles, air-conditioning for simple, fresh-air conversation. And not occasionally, but night after night. It is like something from the pre-industrial age, when people had only each others' company for entertainment.

The setting helps, at the end of a street that stops at the canal. And perhaps alcohol (I've noticed a cooler placed near the chairs). The other night someone was playing a guitar and singing "All My Loving." Hania and I stood on the boardwalk opposite and listened. When he had finished, we both applauded.

Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make your point. You definitely know what youre talking about, why waste your intelligence on just posting videos to your blog when you could be giving us something enlightening to read?
