Someone has placed a typed note atop one of the washers in the laundry room:
God save the Queen.
But her quarters don't work in my washing machine.

A Canadian quarter sits, Queen's-face-up, on the top left-hand corner of the piece of paper.
What distinguishes this from all the other notices in the building is the fact that 1) it is funny, and 2) it speaks to no one other than the person who wrote it, which makes it even more delightful.
