Yesterday in the Herald a man was described as "a self-published author of self-help books."

Which got me thinking (a la Steven Wright): Shouldn't all self-help books be self-published?

I think the opposite is true: NO self help books should be self published.

This would encourage all the people who have self-helped themselves into a feeling of excessive usefulness to shut the hell up.
