Spent yesterday waiting to hear from editors. I've lost count of the ones who could dazzle me with a reply. I realize times are tough, many can't buy - but can't they at least type? How much does it cost to send an e-mail?

Fed-up at six, I got on my bike for my evening ride. The first two people I passed - another man on a bike and a young mother pushing a baby carriage - I said hello to and got no response. Then the Jungle Queen appeared. I cruised over to the river bank and gave a big wave. No one waved back.

I haven't read much of your work lately, being immersed in survival. I've had breast cancer and it's now gone. I still work and paint and have always known the meaning of what is important in life, so I didn't need something life threatening to become enlightened. It is sad that many people do not respond--to anything. Passion is my middle name and I will not go down without having expressed myself, albeit somewhat quietly, that including love and appreciation.Once again, you are a wonderful writer and people are missing out if they don't accept your work. I'm still painting and hope that I can start finding a place to put my art besides on Facebook and MySpace. Maybe we'll meet once again. I hope things are good for you and your wife. Keep writing. All my best, Linda

I’m a long time watcher and I just believed I’d drop by and say hello there for your very first time.
